2nd RA-Residents & SPK Homes Meeting

I would like to propose a get-together with the residents and house owners of Cahaya SPK on 24th April, Saturday 5.00pm. Venue? err can we have it at at P2A playground..???

We shall open table, bring ur own food and drinks and we'll exchange! or maybe we can get SPK to sponsor since they did inform to RA that they are willing to sponsor makan makan

The purpose of this get-together are :-
1) to get to know the neighbours
2) to discuss , and lastly
3) to have fun!!!

Dear Auzani,

As discussed in the first RA meeting in February 2010, we need to have regular meeting of every two months once. Our next meeting will be end of this month. Kindly give us some proposed date so that i can start co-ordinating with all the people involved in SPK Homes and fixed in their date and time.

Secondly, please let us have the list of items that we will be discussing in this meeting.

That is a very positive gesture from SPK to initiate the meeting with the RA.

We hope the RA will respond quickly to firm up the Agenda with its members before submitting to SPK.

Dear all,

Thank you for your continued support. Let's have a show of votes to hold our 2nd meet with residents meeting to discuss new issues and follow up on previous issues (from 1st meeting with SPK Homes).

You may propose other dates and I will add it to the poll. Voting is open from today till Friday, 23rd April. Date will be held based on majority votes.

The proposed agenda will be:
1. To introduce pro-temp members to current residents and attendees.
2. To introduce current residents to each other (suai-kenal).
3. To update progress on previous issues (from 1st meeting).
4. To open floor to raise new issues with SPK Homes.
5. To open floor for suggestions from residents.
6. To open floor for volunteers to assist pro-temp.
7. To propose meet up date with SPK Homes.
8. To initiate attendee list with meeting with SPK Homes.

Sorry I am confused by your mail:

a. Is the two meetings to be held at the same time?
b. What is there to vote really? Are we going to vote on each item or what? And sorry I cannot find the voting procedure in the forum also.

My personal opinion is best to have a dialogue with the residents first to seek out the members' views on existing and new issues. The issues are then listed out to be tabled at the meeting with SPK Homes by the RA representatives. This can be done in one of the evenings ( hope no rain) at the Children's playground where we can just stand around in the basketball court.

You as the current President of the RA has the right to call for meeting of the members to pass certain resolutions such as increasing the numbers of office bearers in your committee.

Hope I am not too intimidating to you - you have the right to do what is right and good for the members. You can be rest assured of our support.
