Launching of Cahayaspk.Net, July 19th 2008

Dear All,

I have been informed by Pik San (Asst Gen Mgr of Marketing) that they will be holding an official launching of our beloved community website. The details are as follows:

Date : Saturday, July 19th 2008
Time : 5:00PM
Location : Cahaya SPK Clubhouse

Myself and Tajul have volunteered to represent the community at the launch. We will also be required to respond to some interview questions by the media. SPK Homes has prepared a list of tentative questions which I reproduce here, and would greatly appreciate your guys feedback on the answers. It would be great to have all of your input on the answers here so as to show that we operate as a community! Oh, and dont forget to spread the word to your friends, relatives, and neighbors about the event!

wah good la. r they going to have it in conjunction with any other activities or just specifically for cahaya spk. net? i m sure both of u can handle the press well. i think this is the trend nowadays of new house buyers gang up n have an online forum to represent their interest collectively like in alam budiman, denai alam n even bkt jelutong latest phase. there are so many forums out there but probably ours is the first in getting the support from developer. we must thank SPK n hafiz eh risik la hafiz bila dia nk kawen n probably we can get spk to buy them tickets to Bali for their honeymoon hehehehe.

unfortunately i will not be able to attend as i m not in the country at that time. i ll try to get my wife to come la n meet all the bakals nebor.

I like the development plan that SPK have promised.
Low density in a 500 acre resort style development.
78 acres of lakes and parks for recreational purposes.
Well planned developemnt complete with commercial, religious and education area.

Positively. They will be able update and answer our questions directly.
It will also allow them to respond to our problems immediately.

With the launch of the dedicated forum page, what do you hope to achieve?
A close knit active community that will be able to contribute significantly to the betterment of our housing area.
A good relationship between the developer and the owners that will enable to community to flourish positively.

It’s a well-moderated forum, how do you manage to maintain the lively forum sessions while holding a full-time job?
It is all about the interest of the community. Most of us likes the idea to be able to interact between our future neighbours which eventually will become part of a big family in CahayaSPK
Most of the pioneers work in an IT intensive environment with PCs at home and in the office. Whenever we can get spare time during lunch or in between work assignment we will keep an eye on the Forum.
For some of us, it helps us to reduce stress at work.
Most of us spend time in the Forum at night.

With the launch of the dedicated forum page, what do you hope to achieve?

- online forum is a powerful tool for buyers to voice their opinion, idea and experience sharing, interact among each others and with developer. CahayaSPK.net hopefully will be piloting this concept as a role model for future housing community.
- a lot of advantage for setting up online community/forum as mentioned earlier such as interaction with developer, community update, event update and with a good support from developer, all complaint and query by buyers can be attended and resolved.

thank you all for all the input. We do need as much ideas as possible, so that we can best represent the community's thoughts on this. Thanks and like Auzani said, we will try our best to incorporate some, if not all the pointers into our responses. do drop by for the event (i dont even know what else is in the agenda, i think SPK haven't shared with us yet), so we can at least meet up and get to know each other better..

thanks to SPK too, for organizing this event. maybe after this launch, there will be more joint events or activities coming? we can then use this community portal to spread the word too .
